METHOD AND CLOCK DEVICE FOR PROCESSING PRECISION TIME PROTOCOL MESSAGE

A method and a clock device for processing a precision time protocol message are disclosed. The method includes: the clock device receives the precision time protocol message, and the precision time protocol message carries the end-to-end parameter information(ll); the clock device determines whether the received precision time protocol message is the precision time protocol message that does not belong to the device itself according to the end-to-end parameter information(12); the clock device retransmits the precision time protocol message that does not belong to the device itself when the received precision time protocol message is the precision time protocol message that does not belong to the device itself(13). The method and the clock device could realize the determination and the processing of the precision time protocol message that does not belong to the device itself, and guarantee the implementation of the end-to-end synchronization.
