The knob (1) has a central retainer i.e. connector socket, attaching a handle (2) on a shaft (6) of a control part (8), where the shaft is movable around a rotation axis (D). The handle bears a translucent indicating dial (9) on front side. The dial is illuminated from inner side by a light source (11) i.e. LED, arranged at a circuit board. Light from the source is irradiated into interior at rear side of the handle that is designed as a back open part. A torque-proof drum (4) is formed with light chambers (5) in interior (3) of the open part. A drum axis coincides with the rotation axis.
