The invention relates to a porous composite material comprising a porous inorganic substrate forming a solid support and a porous inorganic solid phase of the molecular sieve type, characterized in that the predominantly crystalline solid porous phase consists of a continuous layer of coordination polymer which comprises at least one imidazolate or triazolate ligand bonded to cations (M) and which is supported by the solid porous inorganic substrate. The invention also relates to a process for preparing these materials and to the use thereof, especially as a membrane.
