<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal having an energy saving mode and a low power consumption, generating required power from residual emission, without being affected by a surrounding environment such as an installation place, a weather, or a time zone, and also to provide a power supply method of the traffic signal, a traffic signal system, and a power supply method of the traffic signal system. <P>SOLUTION: In this traffic signal, a flexible solar cell is provided integrally on the surface on the signal light source side of a shielding plate of the traffic signal so that light from the signal light source is received, and the power generated in the solar cell is utilized as a power source for the traffic signal.
