<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a toner storing container capable of suppressing the jamming of a toner. <P>SOLUTION: As shown in (A), a carrying member 400 includes: a rotating shaft 410 rotated by a motor not shown; and a projecting part 420 provided to project from the rotating shaft 410. The projecting part 420 is formed like a blade at the periphery of the rotating shaft 410. The projecting part 420 is formed extending from one end side of the rotating shaft 410 to the other end side, and formed spirally. The projecting part 420 presses the toner by the rotation of the rotating shaft 410 and moves the toner in the axial direction of the carrying member 400. The rotating shaft 410 is different in diameter in the axial direction so that it has a large-diameter part 411 at the upstream side in the toner carrying direction, and a small-diameter part 412 at the downstream side in the toner carrying direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
