VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE OF SADDLE-RIDING TYPE VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure of a saddle-riding type vehicle capable of suppressing pitching of the vehicle by positively turning a front wheel when unexpected excessive force is applied from the front.

SOLUTION: This vehicle body structure 10 of the saddle-riding type vehicle 12 includes a vehicle body frame 14 and a steering device 17 arranged in a front part of the vehicle body frame 14 to steer the front wheel 16. The steering device 17 includes a handlebar 18 provided rotatably in the vehicle body frame 14 and right and left front forks 30L and 30R extended from the handlebar 18 to journal the front wheel 16. The vehicle body structure 10 includes a turning mechanism 80 arranged in front of the steering device 17 to transmit load received by the saddle-riding type vehicle 12 from the front to the steering device 17 so that the steering device 17 may be turned to either one of right and left sides.
