PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for facilitating manufacture of a camera module. SOLUTION: A following process is adopted when manufacturing a plurality of camera modules by cutting and dividing, for every imaging sensor, a lens assembly in which optical lenses are respectively arranged to correspond to a plurality of imaging sensors on a sensor substrate where the imaging sensors are two-dimensionally arrayed. First, a plurality of optical lens sections which are not coupled with each other, a plurality of lens supporting members for supporting the plurality of optical lens sections directly or indirectly through other member, which are not coupled with each other, and the sensor substrate on which the plurality of imaging sensors are two-dimensionally arrayed are prepared. Next, by arranging the plurality of lens supporting members and the plurality of optical lens sections on a tool, an optical unit assembly including a plurality of optical units having the optical lens section and the lens supporting member respectively is formed.
