PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, complicatedness such as a conservation by another name is generated for preventing the change of an original image data, and a necessary storage region is increased. SOLUTION: A database of photographic data 30b corresponding to each image data item is prepared while storing the image data in a folder controlled as a film metaphor. When a desired image process is selected regarding desired image data, the selected image process is updated as correction information in the database structure. When display, output and printing operations are required actually, therefore, a user can enjoy an image correction or the like easily with the image data left as they are as an original because various kinds of image procedures are carried out while referring to the correction information only on a work area with the original image data left as they are.
