PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical sheet material having a relatively large area and being easily delivered and indwelled in a body cavity via a trocar. SOLUTION: This defibrillation electrode 1, or an example of a medical sheet material, includes a sheet-like base material 10 having mutually facing first end 11 and second end 12, wherein the base material 10 is alternately provided with mountain folds and valley folds from the first end 11 towards the second end 12, and has a first folding line 14 and a second folding line 15 which are adapted to bring the first end 11 and the second end 12 closer when being folded.
