PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attention attracting device effectively attracting attention of a driver to a moving object by using information about the moving object acquired through communication. SOLUTION: An HMI control part 25 makes a display 31 show an attention attracting display 53 when information acquired by a light beacon communication machine 11, a communication machine 12 between a road and a vehicle, and a communication machine 13 between vehicles show a possibility of contact between the moving object and an own vehicle 100. While the attention attracting display 53 is displayed, the HMI control part 25 makes an attention attracting history display 54 having a lower attention attracting degree than the attention attracting display 53 displayed for at least a predetermined period, if it is determined that the information obtained by the communication shows no possibility of contact with the moving object. In this way, even if it is determined that the information obtained by the communication show no possibility of contact, reduction in safety consciousness of the driver is prevented, and attention of the driver is attracted more effectively.
