PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater traveling device smoothly traveling on the bottom of the water. SOLUTION: The underwater traveling device includes a vehicle body and a plurality of traveling bodies 36a arranged in the vehicle body, the traveling body 36a includes a plurality of rotatable wheels 55-58 and an endless turning body 60 wound around the wheels 55-58, the wheels 55-58 are composed of a front wheel 55, a rear wheel 56, an intermediate wheel 57 disposed between both the front and rear wheels 55, 56, and a driving wheel 58, the rear wheel 56 and the intermediate wheel 57 are arranged in a reference position P at the same height from a horizontal plane 62, and the front wheel 55 is vertically rockable relative to the reference position P and is provided with a vertically rocking means 63 vertically rocking the front wheel 55.
