The invention relates to an eyeglass joint, made of two joint parts and at least one connecting clip. The invention further relates to an eyeglass frame, made of two eyeglass joints according to the invention, two eyeglass earpieces, and an eyeglass lens frame. The eyeglass joint (1) according to the invention comprises two joint parts (2, 2a) and at least one connecting clip, wherein the at least one connecting clip (3) holds the joint parts (2, 2a) together with a hinge. Under increased force, the construction according to the invention of the eyeglass joint allows non-destructive exceeding of the contact angle a by a value aauf of about 180°, up to a value for amax of about 186° (overbending) and dropping below the contact angle a by a value of azu, which is about 90°, up to a value of amin of about 85° (underbending).
