Pharmaceutical preparations for the treatment of digestive disorders contain 4,7-.phenanthroline-5,6-quinone in admixutre or conjunction with pancreatin, bromelin, dehydr.ocholic acid and 7-iodo-5-chloro-8-hydroxyquinoline and a pharmaceutical carrier suitable for oral administration. The preparations may be administered orally in the form of a dragee preferably having three-stages comprising an inside core containing 4,7-phenanthroline-5,6-quinone and 7-iodo-5-ohloro-8- hydroxyquinoline, an enveloping core layer containing pancreatin and dehydrocholic acid, this composite core being enveloped by a substance that resists gastric fluid and decomposes in an alkaline medium e.g. cellulose acetate/phthalate lacquer, an outer dragee layer containing bromelin and finally a sugar coat. Cysteine hydrochloride may be present in the preparations.
