<p>A baby bed configured in such a manner that frame elements thereof can be reused as a gate without involving a user in troublesome re-assembly. A baby bed (1) comprises a flat rectangular floor plate (2) and a surrounding frame (3) which surrounds the floor plate (2). Four frame elements (4, 5) forming the four faces of the surrounding frame (3) are separated from each other and are constructed to be separable from the floor plate (2). Stretching-member mounting sections (10) are formed at both ends laterally of one frame element (4, 5) and are adapted such that stretching members (20) stretched against vertical surfaces (31) at an indoor opening section (30) are mounted to the stretching-member mounting sections (10). Each of the stretching members (20) comprises a bolt (21), a pad (22) mounted to one end of the bolt (21) and made to contact with a vertical surface (31) at the indoor opening section (30), and a nut (23) engaged with the bolt (21). Each of the stretching-member mounting sections (10) is a hole (11) for inserting the other end of the bolt (21) and comprises a protective member (12).</p> |
