<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a system sharing a set value between printer drivers, such that when a print queue is switched over, the default value of the print queue becomes invalid after the switchover, because the print set value of the print queue before the switchover is succeeded to the print setting of the print queue after the switchover. <P>SOLUTION: Under control of an operating system having such a function that the set value set by using a plurality of printer drivers is shared among a plurality of printer drivers, a control method includes: an item determination process to determine a common set item between a set item in set information before the switchover and a set item according to a printer after the switchover along with the switchover of an output target printer between a plurality of printers corresponding to a plurality of printer drivers and a set value determination process to determine whether the set value in the set information before the switchover is different from the default set value of the printer after the switchover with respect to the common set item determined in the item determination process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
