PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively and appropriately inform a user of the existence of guide objects (facilities, for example) around a moving body (user and vehicle, for example) according to tastes of the user. SOLUTION: A navigation device 10 for displaying a current position of the moving body (user and vehicle, for example) on a map in a display screen of a display device (image display device 31, for example), and guiding the moving body to a destination includes: a map information storage F2 for storing map information; a POI information storage F3 for storing POI information; and a taste information storage F7 for storing taste information. The navigation device detects a current position of the moving body, searches for POI information representing guide objects existing within a predetermined range from the detected current position, selects POI information containing guide-object identification information displayed on the display screen from among the searched POI information on the basis of taste information, and displays, on the display screen, guide information (guide plate, for example) containing the guide object identification information included in the selected POI information.
