PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which is used for a backlight of illumination, signboard, and monitor or the like and for a game device and in which a suitable coloring light can be obtained. SOLUTION: The light source device is constructed of a light source unit LS in which at least one set of a red light-emitting diode element LEDR, a green light-emitting diode element LEDG, and a blue light-emitting diode element LEDB are mounted, an output unit OUT which controls each of the red light-emitting diode element LEDR, the green light-emitting diode element LEDG, and the blue light-emitting diode element LEDB of the light source unit LS respectively independently, a control unit CO which controls each LED corresponding to a control signal received from a sensor SEN, a memory MEM, a power supply PS, and an external remote control RMT. As the control unit CO controls each red light-emitting diode element LEDR, green light-emitting diode element LEDG, and blue light-emitting diode element LEDB of the light emitting unit LS, the light emitted from the light source unit LS can be arbitrarily adjusted.
