PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker in which the outflow of waste heat generated in a pan is suppressed further more. SOLUTION: The rice cooker is provided with hot air layer formation parts 14, 22, 23, 24, and 25, which forms a hot air layer by compulsorily introducing a waste heat-containing fluid containing the waste heat generated in the pan 2, in a space 20 formed by enclosing by a cyclic seal part 12 between a lid body 3 and an inner lid 4.
