PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a coating liquid forming an undercoat layer containing inorganic particles, and used for an electrophotographic photoreceptor to disperse the inorganic particles satisfactorily, to prevent a broken piece of a bead, worn powder or the like from being mixed into the coating liquid, and to obtain excellent productivity. SOLUTION: In the method of producing the coating liquid forming the undercoat layer containing inorganic particles, and used for the electrophotographic photoreceptor, the inorganic particles are dispersed in the coating liquid in a satisfactory manner by a collision with a high-pressure liquid.
