PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access controller for creatively using a single recording medium according to operation modes. SOLUTION: A CPU 32 selectively starts, in response to the operation of a mode switch 32sw, an imaging task corresponding to a camera mode, a reproduction task corresponding to a reproduction mode, a setting change task corresponding to a setting change mode, and a USB communication task corresponding to a USB communication mode. An access is performed by the started task to a flash memory 38 with a plurality of partitions formed therein.
