The invention relates to a method for obtaining a nanostructured ceramic/semiconductor/metal composite material that can be machined by electroerosion (EDM). According to the invention, the following starting materials are used: a ceramic material of nanometric particle size, a semiconductor material of nanometric particle size, and a metal salt employed as precursor of the corresponding metal. The method comprises the following steps consisting in: a) preparing a ceramic/metal oxide material in powder form, through calcination of a dry powder obtained from a homogeneous suspension of the ceramic material and the metal precursor metal salt; b) adding the semiconductor material to the powder resulting from step (a); c) grinding, homogenising, drying and screening the powder from the previous step; d) subjecting the powder produced in step (c) to heat treatment under a reducing atmosphere; and e) shaping and sintering the powder from the previous step. |
