<p>Disclosed is a novel coated printing paper which suits high-quality and high-precision printing while sustaining a sufficient texture from among the texture and printability required for coated printing papers. Specifically disclosed is a coated printing paper provided with a coating layer, which contains a binder and a pigment, on at least one surface of a base, wherein the degree of smoothness of said base is controlled to 20-100 seconds, a coating solution contains 41 vol% or more, relative to the total coating pigments, of a coating pigment having a volume distribution particle size of 1.035 µm or more, and the coating layer, that is formed by applying said coating solution, contains 25 mass% or more of hollow plastic pigments in 100 mass% of the total coating pigments.</p> |
