<p>A method for removing a wax pattern from a ceramic shell includes the steps of putting the ceramic shell with the wax pattern in a sealing chamber, evacuating the sealing chamber, and then cooling the evacuated sealing chamber whereby the wax pattern shrinks to provide a gap between the wax pattern and the ceramic shell. An apparatus for removing a wax pattern from a ceramic shell is also disclosed. The method for removing a wax pattern from a ceramic shell employed in the invention can prevent the ceramic shell from cracking during the process of removing the wax pattern, and can also avoid residual wax left on the shell surfaces.</p> |
