PURPOSE: A driving circuit for a liquid crystal display is provided to reduce manufacturing costs and miniaturize by reducing the load of a DC-DC conversion unit. CONSTITUTION: In a driving circuit for a liquid crystal display, a DC-DC conversion unit(30) receives power driving voltage and generates a gate driving voltage. A common voltage generator receives a gate driving voltage and divides voltage to generate a common voltage. A first voltage divider(311) has one end receiving a gate-on voltage and has the other end connected to the ground. A second voltage divider(312) has both ends and a resistor(R2) is conned between them in series.
