<p>The peptides, their amides or acid addition salts are prepd. either by (1) eliminating the protective groups in peptides having ACTH activity which have as the main amino acid an acid with D configuration and in which the alpha-amino group is acylated and the amino groups of the side chains and the terminal and side chain carboxyl groups are protected, or by (2) acylating, at the alpha-N, ACTH effect peptides in which the main amino acid has D configuration and opt. converting the products into their acid addition salts.</p> |
