PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera, a method for notifying a camera shaking state and a program, wherein it is possible to take an image in a stable state with little shaking by notifying a shaking state. SOLUTION: A shaking amount is detected in parallel to processes from an imaging start to a through image display to graph the shaking amount. It is displayed in a graph display column 52 as a line graph 56. In a shown example, the line graph 56 is developed on a time series basis from the left to the right, and if exceeding a range of the graph display column 52, the shaking amounts are sequentially erased from the oldest one, and a new shaking amount is displayed (when the line graph exceeds the range of the graph display column 52, it looks like that the graph moves from the right to the left on a monitor screen 5).
