[Also in Division A6] A dodgem has a moulded plastic chassis A which comprises a base 1 with, in the front, a hollow upstanding part 14 constituting the front surface of the cockpit and including a housing 16 for the driving and steering unit at the base of said upstanding part and, at the rear, a second hollow upstanding part 9 forming a support for the seats, the said base being surrounded by an integral flange 2 adapted to receive a metal support 8 for a resilient beading 8a forming a buffer, and to receive the bottom edge of the body B. Fig. 1 shows a chassis A having a half housing 11 for the axle supporting the rear wheels or rollers and Fig. 3 shows the chassis A and the body B assembled together with the beading 8a. |
