PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to form at least one between concave part and convex part on the light incoming part of a light guiding plate or forming both the concave part and the convex part on the light incoming part, thereby increasing brightness of area which is expected to form a host spot among a light incoming part of the light guiding plate and improving a picture quality of a screen realized to a liquid panel by applying a uniformed surface light source to a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: As forming a concave part of a groove shape in an upper edge of a light incoming part of the light guiding plate and forming a convex part of a groove shape which is supplied to a liquid crystal panel, a screen display quality of a liquid crystal panel is improved by increasing brightness uniformity of light which is supplied to the liquid crystal panel. The liquid crystal display device is comprised as follows. The liquid crystal panel includes a plurality of LED arranged in at least one side of lower part of the liquid crystal panel. In an upper edge of a light incoming unit which light is emitted, a concave part of a groove shape is formed in area corresponding to interval between a plurality of LEDs. In lower part of the light incoming unit, a light guiding plate(303) is included as a groove shaped concave unit(303b) is formed in an area corresponding to an interval between LEDs. |
