The stationary electrode of a miniature variable capacitor is a metallized area 2 on porcelain cylinder 1 which metallizing is continued along an edge portion at 12 and covers portion 7 on the lower surface to permit plugin connection 8 to be made, and the mobile electrode is a metallized area 4 on the upper surface of disc 3 urged against the stator by starshaped spring 6 which also electrically connects the metallization 4 via rivet 5 to annular metallized area 13 on the lower surface of the stator and thence via metallized strip 9 to metallised portion 14 at which plug-in connection 10 is made. The lower face is covered with epoxy resin 11. |
