<p>PURPOSE: A touch panel and portable terminal having the same are provided to have improved operating reliability by reducing electronic resistance and the distance in which an electronic signal is transmitted on a transparent electrode pattern unit. CONSTITUTION: A substrate has an active area and an inactive area which is arranged along the edge of the active area. A transparent electrode pattern array(220,260) is formed in the active area and has a transparent electrode patterns including separated patterns which are electrically separated. External electrode wires(240,280) are formed in the inactive area and are connected to the separation patterns. The separation patterns, comprising one transparent electrode pattern unit, forms a neighboring separation pattern and one row.</p> |
