PURPOSE: A battery module with a heat emitting unit and a medium-large sized battery pack are provided to minimizing the formation of coolant paths and increasing the thermal conductivity of the module. CONSTITUTION: A battery module includes a board shaped battery cell(100), a heat emitting unit, and a heat exchanging unit. The board shaped battery cell includes a laminate sheet-based cell case(110) and an electrode assembly. The heat emitting unit is installed in two or more battery cells. The heat emitting unit includes a body part, a connecting part, and an upper surface part. The upper surface part is in contact with the heat exchanging unit. The heat exchanging unit eliminates heat from the battery cells.
