PURPOSE: A semiconductor storage system is provided to improve the reliability of data by transmitting information of a butter unit to a memory area even though system power is suddenly turned off. CONSTITUTION: A buffer unit(120) temporarily stores working information about a memory area(160). An auxiliary power unit(140) provides constant power to the buffer unit. The working information is mapping information between a logical address and a physical address on the memory area and a block erase count in the memory area. The auxiliary power unit receives light and provides a signal with a constant voltage as power.
