PURPOSE: A surgical suture is provided to enable a user to easily bind the knot of the suture passing through a tissue by winding an outer line for preventing the sliding around a core line. CONSTITUTION: A surgical suture includes a core line(100) and an outer line(200) for preventing the sliding. The outer line is spirally wound along the longitudinal direction of the core line. The outer line is fixed to the core line. The outer line includes an adhesive part which is closely adhered to the outer side of the core line and a sliding part for passing the suture in a tissue penetration direction. The outer line prevents the retreat of the suture in an opposite direction to the tissue penetration direction. A coating layer is formed on the sliding part to maintain the smooth surface of the sliding part.
