PURPOSE: A chuck for a tubular element is provided to hold the tubular element by contacting with inner circumference of the tubular element. CONSTITUTION: A chuck for a tubular element comprises: a piston rod which is elastically loaded by a spring(S) which is inserted into a bore(21); a ring-shaped groove(41) which is formed at the outer circumference at the front end of the piston rod; and a plurality of jaws(42) which are rotationally mounted around a second cylindrical body(30).
