PURPOSE: A 3-dimensional display device is provided to supply a 3D image having horizontal and vertical parallaxes by using the number of parallax images which is equal to the number of parallax images which are used when providing a horizontal parallax. CONSTITUTION: An image providing device(330) of a parallax image providing unit(300A) provides at least two parallax images, and a parallax image convergence unit(300B) converges the parallax images front the pupils of an observer. In order to turn on at least two diagonally arranged light sources(312,314,316,318), a light source array(310) is activated.
