Anchoring device for a removable automobile seat

The device has a shaft (7) on which two series of movable locks (6) are mounted. The two series of locks are interlocked such that the locks pass successively from a retracted state and an engaged state at which the locks are engaged against corresponding anchoring wings. Each lock has a control shank (10) whose proximal and distal portions are separated by a bore receiving the shaft. An actuator (11) acts on the shank to pivot the two series of locks from locking and unlocking positions towards the retracted and engaged positions in opposite directions, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle seat comprising an anchoring device.
