<p>Carbamates of formula: ROCON(R')CH2NR2R3 (I) (where R is an opt. substd. aromatic hydrocarbon in heterocycle residue, R' is alkyl, and R2 and R3 are H, alkyl, Ph, MeCO, CONR4R5 or CH2N(R1)CO2R where R4 and R5 are H or alkyl or NR2R3 forms a heterocyclic residue) are of use as insecticides. (I) are prepd. by chloromethylation (HCHO & HCl) of an N-alkyl carbamate ROOCNHR', followed by condensing the intermediate with an amine R2R3NH2.</p> |
