The invention relates to an adhesive member 10 for adhering to and for covering a portion of a user's skin. The adhesive member comprises an adhesive surface on at least one side there of and includes a plurality of openings 12, each of which extends inwardly from a periphery of the member 10. The adhesive member may be substantially circular, elliptical or oval and each opening preferably extends radially inwardly towards the central region of the member. The member may have an opening (16 figure 3) to receive a user's stoma. The adhesive side of the member may be covered by a removable covering (20 figure 3) Later embodiments relate to an ostomy appliance 11 comprising said adhesive member. |
