APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING LOCATION OF TERMINAL

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the location of a terminal and a method thereof are provided to rapidly obtain AP registration information which is needed to recognize the location of the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A search domain setting part(330) establishes the search range of a database by using obtained terminal location, an AP identifier, and a signal measurement value. A registration information extracting unit(340) extracts AP registration information having an identifier matched with the AP identifier in the search range of a database. A location calculation unit(350) calculates the location of the terminal using the AP registration information.
