<p>PURPOSE: An electrocatalyst material for a direct methanol fuel cell is provided to ensure high activity to oxygen reduction reaction and to secure antifatigue property since palladium and metal oxide are dispersed in an electrically conductive carrier. CONSTITUTION: An electrocatalyst material for a direct methanol fuel cell is such that palladium and metal oxide are dispersed and supported in an electrically conductive carrier, wherein the metal oxide is the oxide of at least one metal selected from tungsten(W), titanium(Ti), tin(Sn), vanadium(V), chrome(Cr), manganese(Mn), iron(Fe), cobalt(Co), nickel(Ni), copper(Cu), silver(Ag), molybdenum(Mo), ruthenium(Ru), osmium(Os) and iridium(Ir).</p> |
