<p>The wire feed pin useful for a welding machine, comprises a handle piece (1) and a guide tube (2) with a nozzle-shaped discharge opening for the conveyed wire. The feed pin is connected through a flexible guiding tube to a motorically-driven wire-feeder. The guide tube is replaced for adjustment to different working tasks simply against the guide tube with other geometries. A wire nozzle (6) is arranged at front end of the guide tube and is replaced for adjustment to different working tasks simply against the wire nozzle with other geometries. The feed pin is connected through a flexible guiding tube to a motorically-driven wire-feeder. The guide tube is replaced for adjustment to different working tasks simply against the guide tube with other geometries. A wire nozzle (6) is arranged at front end of the guide tube and is replaced for adjustment to different working tasks simply against the wire nozzle with other geometries. A control device (5) is arranged in the area of the handle piece for starting and stopping the wire feeder. The control device comprises a control element for switching the wire conveying device, a control element for starting and stopping the wire feeder in reverse direction, and a control element for influencing the conveyor speed. The control elements are implemented for starting and stopping the wire feeder in both directions in the form of a common switch rocker with a front and back switching area. The guide tube or the wire nozzle is equipped with a cooling device. A device for pre-heating the wires (4) is held in the handle piece, in the guide tube or in the wire nozzle. The handle piece, the guide tube or the wire nozzle are arranged for subjecting the wires with a process stream. A protective gas line is provided to guide the protective gas so that it surrounds the wire emerging from the discharge opening. The control device influences a process parameter of the welding machine.</p> |
