PURPOSE: An electrolyte composition is provided to ensure proper application to deposition of metal on a solar battery by comprising iminodisuccinate derivative but not cyanide. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte composition, which is used for deposition of metal, comprises metal ion and iminodisuccinate derivative. The iminodisuccinate derivative exists in the form of salt, such as sodium salt and potassium salt. The metal ion is selected among silver, calcium, magnesium, iron, chrome, cobalt, nickel, copper, and aluminum ion.
