PURPOSE: An optical signal measuring instrument is provided to measure accurate optical power even if the wavelength range of an optical signal changes due to a lot of factors. CONSTITUTION: An optical signal measuring instrument comprises a multi-channel optical splitter(2), a photodiode(3), a main calculator. The multi-channel optical splitter can adjust the selective wavelength band of each channel. The photodiode receives light from the multi-channel optical splitter and converts it to an electrical signal. The main calculator receives the electrical signal from the photodiode and derives the selective wavelength and optical power.
