PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling power of a wireless device are provided to conveniently reduce power consumption by a power control of a neighboring station. CONSTITUTION: A communication module(20) receives data from an external station. The communication module transmits data to the external station. A control unit(60) maintains an awake state during a beacon timeslot for transmitting a beacon signal to a station through the communication module. The control unit transmits the beacon signal. The control unit maintains an awake state during predetermines period for receiving information from the station through a communication module.
