PURPOSE: A photovoltaic device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the efficiency of the photovoltaic device by reducing the leakage current and the idle region of the photovoltaic device. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(110) which is separated is formed on a substrate(100). A first photoelectric transformation layer(130) is formed to cover the first groove between the separated first electrodes. An intermediate reflecting layer(140) is formed on the first photoelectric transformation layer. A second groove is formed on the first photoelectric transformation layer and the intermediate reflecting layer.
