PURPOSE: A network direct connection storing device including a switching device in order to simplify the complex of cabling is provided to reduce the consumption of an unnecessary external Ethernet switch port. CONSTITUTION: An ethernet bridging unit(1) offers a switching function between an external Ethernet and an NDAS storage unit(2). The NDAS storage unit performs a direct connection storing device on network. The Ethernet bridging unit comprises ethernet bridge devices. The ethernet bridging unit includes an internal Ethernet interface, an Ethernet bridging logic and an external Ethernet interface.
