PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting the wheel speed error of an automobile is provided to detect wheel error by comparing counting result. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting the wheel speed error of an automobile comprises: a first binary counter for counting square wave signal outputted from a front left wheel speed sensor(111), front right wheel speed sensor(112), rear left wheel speed sensor(113), and rear right wheel speed sensor(114); a second binary counter for counting square wave signal outputted from the sensors; a comparison unit for comparing the counting results of the first and second result value; and a system fail determining unit for determining system fail in case that the difference value between the counting result of the first and second result value is over the critical value. |
