A wearable lighting system comprises a rubber light emitting module 3 designed to lock into a specified standard apparel fixture and an eyelet fixture 2 permanently applied to a fabric material 1 and sized to fit the light emitting module. The light emitting module is preferably constructed of silicone rubber, and preferably contains a high brightness light emitting diode and control circuit. The light emitting module may be activated by pressing the module surface or by movement. The application of pressure to the top side of the module allows its removal from the eyelet. The wearable lighting system creates an easily applied safety or high visibility light for textile fabrics. |
