<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To jointly provide light-weight property, repulsive property, and strength of a racket regarding a tennis racket. <P>SOLUTION: A throat section 13 which is made of a fiber reinforced resin and continues from a head section 12 and a shaft section 14 is formed into a fork shape. A yoke section 16 is provided between both side frames of the throat section 13. For a racket frame 11, a string stretching section G surrounding a ball hitting surface F is formed of the yoke section 16 and the head section 12. For the width of the racket frame 11, the width Ws of the throat section 13 is made maximum, and the width WO for a top section 19 of the string stretching section G is made minimum. Additionally, the moment of inertia Ic in the central direction under a state in which the string S is stretched on the string stretching section G is kept within a range from 15,000 (g cm<SP>2</SP>) to 18,000 (g cm<SP>2</SP>) for this tennis racket. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
