METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR UPDATING ELECTRONIC GUIDE

PURPOSE: A method and system for updating an electronic guide are provided to transmit and process update information based on change increment container. CONSTITUTION: Change increment information including information on the data which are changed, deleted or added is formed(S1). The formed change increment information is loaded to a container, and a change increment container is generated(S2). The generated change increment container is linked with the corresponding existing container(S3). The changed change increment container is transferred to a broadcast reception terminal(S4).
